McKinley Elementary School Tournament - WSCF
The MSCC brought 8 players to McKinley Elementary School in Wauwatosa this past Saturday, This was a WSCF (Wisconsin Scholastic Chess Federation) run event, hosted by the school and Mark Seghers, whom some may remember as the leader of the MSCC for many years.
It was a big event - 136 players - and our group had a lot of fun and took home some trophies!
K6
- Both Hunter & Sophia had 3 wins out of 5 and Mia was right behind with 2 wins in this very competitive section.
K12
- Quinn lead the way with 4.5 out of 5 wins and took a 3rd place trophy! Josh, Luke and Anthony (kudos to Anthony for playing up to K12!) all had 3 wins and Rishi was close behind.
- This was also a very competitive section, but together the group took home a 2nd place team trophy! Well done!
