SMCA Triad at Brookfield East

This past Saturday Brookfield East hosted the SMCA (Scenic Moraine Chess Association) event which was dubbed the "Triad" because of the three G60 matches that were played. 

Schools in attendance, and the final team scoring was as follows:

• Brookfield East 
• Hartford
• New Berlin Eisenhower
• New Berlin West 
• Brookfield Academy
• Kewaskum
• Tosa East 
• Muskego 
• Kettle Moraine

We brought Will, Alyssa, Matthew R, Steven A, Josh K and Arnold.  There was some stiff competition at this event, and I was proud of the games that our team played, even if they didn't win as many as they would have liked.

Will led the way with 2 out of 3 wins and a 14th place finish.  Special shout out to Arnold who was playing in his first tournament !
