It is typically our year-end event, and even though it was a down year in terms of participation due to spring breaks and other factors we still had a great time! A total of about 285 players from around the State joined this event that lasted for 5 or 6 rounds (depending on the section) over 2 days.

This event was organized & run by Mike Nietman of the Wisconsin Chess Association, and it ran smoothly as always.

We were only able to bring 3 players this year, but Anthony, Sophia and Mia played very well, and we also had fun hanging out with the McKinley & Whitman players in their team room (thanks Coach Seghers!).

K5

Over 6 rounds of G60/90 minute matches, both Sophia and Mia won 3 of the matches.
